Vaughan Community Church is an English-speaking, multi-generational church. Our desire is to build up and bless our worshipping community, our GTA community and the work in which we live.

Lead Pastor
Reverend Joseph Bae
Joe received his Master of Divinity from Knox College in 2010 and was ordained as VCC EM's lead pastor.
Joe is married to Nancy two children, Luke, and Micah. As he serves VCC, Joe looks forward to discovering together with the congregation how good God is, the deep joy, hope and strength of Christ as they follow Him, and the incredible, surprising and faithfully loving things God can do through the local church. Joe is a big time sports fan, an even bigger Star Trek fan, and a devoted Lord of the Rings nerd.
Associate Pastor
Reverend John Baik
John received his Master of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary in tandem with a Masters in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship in 2010, then ordained in 2011.
John is married to Grace and have 2 energetic children, Jubilee and Jude and cherishes spending time with his family. He finds joy in following Jesus and His way with people from different stages in life together. John loves listening to stories of life, music, and quiet moments of drinking coffee on a rainy day.

Administrative Staff
Casual part-time, 10 hours/week
Job Description:
Assist pastors with administrative tasks including but not limited to:
Weekly creation of Sunday worship service slides and communication material (working with communications ministry)
Timely updating of website content
Maintenance of membership database on Breeze. Leveraging Breeze/database for church application (working with welcome and membership ministries)
Provide support / coordination for church special events (baptism, communion, membership class, retreat, workshops)
Create ministry assets and support ministries
Responding and redirecting inquiries of church and ministries
All necessary meetings as required, including weekly meeting with pastoral staff
Qualifications:
3+ years of work experience, preferably in a structured organization environment
Works well in team setting, with initiative to accomplish tasks individually
Great communication and organization skills
Computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps required
Detail and project management oriented
Previous experience with online applications such as Canva, SquareSpace, Church Management System (such as Breeze) an asset, but not required
Eye and skill for design an asset
Term:
One year contract, revisit 3 months out from end of term
Remuneration: $1000/month - 10 hours/week
Hybrid Workplace; Sunday service attendance required
